What your craving says about your body ...

Cravings are not fun as they are the reason for weight gain and un-heallthy eating.

I did a little googling and this is what i found out about craving.
This is so interesting!!

Our bodies are telling us we are lacking certain vitamins and because we relate our cravings to moods and emotions, our bodies are not getting satisfied and this is why we binge eat. Yes I am guilty of this and I have decided to make the change. My cravings are getting in line and I have so much more energy.
Here are the cravings that I  have substituted in my every day.
CHOCOLATE - this is a lack of magnesium , chronium, vitamin B and essential fatty acids- You can get curb this craving with 75% cocoa! Yes this is a bitter chocolate, but you just need a few pieces to be satisfied, or make some dark cocoa milk and sip your worried away.
BREAD - you are lacking fiber, magnesium and chromium- all you got to do this munch on a banana or two. Freeze a banana and add it to a fruit smoothie.
COCA COLA - this is a calcium deficiency -  stock up on milk and oranges. This a simple substitution as milk can be added to cereal, cocoa, milkshakes and you can cook with it. Oranges works well alone, in a smoothie and a alternated to coffee in the morning as well.
MEAT - you are lacking iron my friend, which means you are tired and have not energy, so do not delay and snack on some lentils and beans which is also high in fiber, helping with regular toilet time! Beans and lentils and be boiled, fried and even added to salads, wraps and stir fries .

I simply added a salad to my everyday meal and this way I get most of my cravings out of the way. This means I snack less and I even feel fuller for longer, thanks to the fiber in my salads.

My Game craze....

Bloons TD Battles


This game is a strategy game. You need to pop the bloons before they move through your map.
Each map is different.
Each monkey has their own pros and cons.
Each arena cost "monkey money" - Medallions

So this week I rank 16th in my region and 6071 in the world. This means I will receive 3000 medallions for my regional position and 6000 medallions for my world position along with a badge.

So at the moment I am testing out the:
Dart monkey
Wizard
farm

These 3 can take you to round 30 if not higher. I have been playing against a few players that just send bloons so I lose my life. But my defense is quite good so i survive and they are not equipped to defeat the MOABs in round 27 however other players practically drown me with regen bloons (bloons that move faster and are harder to pop). I am currently looking for some one that will play a LATE GAME with me.
These days everyone is in a hurry to just win and leave.

A Little about me...

My aim:
To become more confident and finally be able to do a YouTube channel. I would also like to motivate others like myself.
I get bored very easily, so blogging will be a challenge for me. I want to help students, friends, family and just everyone with simple life problems or just share my life experiences.

My Interests:
My new found love is Pinterest!! I mean I have dedicated over 2 hours everyday to pinning!! I have about 900 followers!! And with every follower I celebrate!!
Maths- Yes it maybe a strange like for most, but its one of a few things I am actually good at. So if you have some math homework, I could give it a shot, if you need some help.
Volley ball- Even though its just in my back yard with the family, its a lovely sport, fast paced and exciting.

I'm keeping this blog name ... why?
Because I haven't come up with a better name and even though DLK are no longer group blogging, we are still close friends and due to working requirements and financial needs DLK was not able to keep up to date with the blog.

Why me?
I feel I have a lot "say" but I don't have the courage to actually say them until now that is! So I will be chit chatting here, hopefully making friend all over the world.
