DOG KENNELS 2015

Comments from our Canines

1. My life is likely to last 10 to 15 years; any separation from you will be painful for me. Remember that before you adopt me.

2. Give me time to understand what you want from me; don’t be impatient, short-tempered, or irritable.

3. Place your trust in me and I will always trust you back. Respect is earned not given as an inalienable right.

4. Don’t be angry with me for long and don’t lock me up as punishment; I am not capable of understanding why. I only know I have been rejected. You have your work, entertainment, and friends, but I only have you.

5. Talk to me. Even if I don’t understand your words, I do understand your voice and your tone. You only have to look at my tail.

6. Be aware that however you treat me, I’ll never forget it, and if it’s cruel, it may affect me forever.

7. Please don’t hit me. I can’t hit back, but I can bite and scratch, and I really don’t ever want to do that

8. Before you scold me for being uncooperative, obstinate, or lazy, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I’m not getting the right foods or I’ve been out in the sun too long, or my heart is getting old and weak. It may be I am just dog-tired.

9. Take care of me when I get old. You too will grow old and may also need love, care, comfort, and attention.

10. Go with me on difficult journeys. Never say, “I can’t bear to watch” or “Let it happen in my absence.” Everything is easier for me if you are there. Remember, regardless of what you do, I will always love you.

*This really broke my heart. 😢 I really miss my rottweiler, my angel! 😢 Some dogs just steal your heart and my rottweiler did just that. He was so loving, I miss him terribly!!!!!! 😢 *

Health update

3 weeks ago -Friday
I threw my back out
Tuesday
I went to the doctor.
I was taking meds as requested.
Thursday
Pain was still present.
Friday night
i felt a strange feeling deep in my left leg.
I could barely walk from then on.
I finally went to the doctor on Wednesday.
Wednesday
I was told that the pain in my leg could  be a  strained muscle. I received pain and sleeping meds along with an ointment and patches .
Friday
My leg was doing much better
Saturday  and Sunday
I was able  to walk around much more easily. I still could not bend my leg completely.
Today - Monday
I'm back at work for my first full day since the other week Friday.
The pain has not gone away yet
I have done some research and found out that this injury takes up to 12weeks to completely heal. So almost 2weeks down 10 more to go!

Everyday scar hack

A simple hack that I have tried!

Note*
Everyone's skin is not the same. I have really sensitive skin so I only did this 3 times a week.
If you are not sure of the sensitivity of your skin you should start using this hack about 2 times a week or less and work your up to everyday.

This is easy peasy!

All you need is:
-Cotton balls
-Lemon juice

What you need to do:
Preferably at night.
-Soak a cotton ball with the lemon juice
-Apply all over the scarred area
-Wait 10 to 15 minutes
-Wash as usual (Gentle soap)
-Pat dry

And how simple is that!!

Enjoy your scars reducing naturally.

Doctor's visit*

So I have not been to the doctor for like ever!!
Our Dr. didn't even have my chart, he probably archived it or something.

Here's my story- On Friday morning my threw my back out, and age has nothing to do with it.

My lower back on the left side had a "spastic moment",  I don't know how else to describe this- But it was like something got a hold of the muscle on my lower back and it was not letting go. Every turn, every movement was extremely painful. Breathing and laughing hurt but sneezing and coughing was even worse.

I was taking Cata flam D since Friday and the pain was easing up slightly.

Here is my mini diary log:
Friday- I could barely move, walk and sit.
Saturday- I was walking a bit better, I couldn't walk up the stairs, I could sit only for a short while
Sunday & Monday - I was feeling much better, but still the stairs was a problem & I could sit for a longer
Tuesday - no improvement!
So it was off to the doctor for me.

After waiting almost 2 hours at the doctors surgery, I received an injection (an Ouchie one) and 3 sets of tablets(Pain meds/ muscle relaxant / sleeping meds).

I was told to apply volatren ointment as often as 3 times a day.

And now my fingers are crossed that the pain goes away for once and for all!!

Muthu Murugan Stand up and Dance - pictures

Beautiful light ans sound effects.

Great show to each and every one at the Stand up and Dance production.

Stand up and dance - Muthu Murugan Presents

A very entertaining show, with music that makes you want to stand up and dance (no pun intended).
I enjoyed every moment for this show.

As soon as we walked into Sun Coast, there was a line of over 20 people how ever we did not have to stand in the line for a long  time at all.
Once we walked into the well lit hall, we were helped to our numbered sit. The newly renovated hall was fitted with tiered seating area, cushioned seats, with 4 TV screens around the stage. The seating area was very spacious, I mean very spacious, there was enough place to Stand up and Dance. The outside weather was masked by the +5 air cons on either sides of this hall.

Once the show start the audience was clapping and singing along with the songs.
The jokes left us with tummy aches. It was just too hilarious. Even better- watching my mum and dad laugh until they could not laugh anymore was really a treasuring moment from last night's show.

There was however an over 16 restriction. But most of the fun and games were family orientated.
Brilliant show!!
Leona Dean Dancers are exceptional!!! From their outfit changes to the choreography- everything was very well organised and beautifully put together!!

I have to mention - Annalaksmi - Wow!!! She was the first person everyone spoke about as soon as we left the show!! Excellent job!! She had a well thought out skit that just touches everyone as she spoke about current event.

Amazing talents that were shared with us last night!!

*Must see*

This is a yearly event!!

DO NOT MISS NEXT YEAR'S SHOW!!

KFC Review

I love KFC just as much as the next person. But when the service does not match up to what is promised it is really disappointing.

On Friday night we purchased KFC from the branch at Pavilion.
We bought food for 7 people, including  box masters, chicken pieces and mash etc.
And the only thing that was fresh was the mash and gravy.

This was very disappointing as it was a takeaway.

Heated Hair Mask for long shiny hair

This is an all oil hair mask

I was shown this by a hair stylish/friend last year.
Here is what you will get:
Beautiful results
Silky hair
Less knots
Simple

I love this secret formula!

This is what I used
3 kinds of oils
-coconut oil
-amla oil
-olive oil
towel (an older towel)
cling wrap

This is what you do:

  • Mix equal parts of  the oils depending on the length of your hair.
  • Comb through your hair, all your hair should be off your face.
  • Make the oil warm in the microwave +/- 2 mins.
  • Keep the cling wrap and towel ready.
  • Start at your roots.
  • Comb through your hair once to spread the oil.
  • Keep applying the oil until you reach the tips.
  • You can re-heat the oil if it gets cold.
  • Massage your oily scalp for a minute or two.
  • Swirl your hair in top of your head
  • Heat the towel in the microwave for +/- 3 mins
  • Now wrap the warmed towel around your head.
  • Heat the towel once or twice after 15 min intervals.
And voila'
Your Heated Hair Mask is complete.

Wash your hair with a mild shampoo and conditioner.

ENJOY THE RESULTS
